How much does it cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $199. Your rate depends on expense volume and the complexity of your books. We'll give you a flat quote after looking at your situation.
My books are months behind. Can you help?
Yes. Catch-up work is priced separately based on how far back we need to go and how much cleanup is involved. Once we get you current, we move into regular monthly bookkeeping.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. We work month-to-month. If it's not working out, you can cancel anytime.
How do I send you documents?
We'll set you up with a secure portal where you can upload receipts, invoices, and statements. You can also email them if that's easier for you.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not required. Most clients prefer phone or video calls. If you're in the Merrimack Valley or Greater Boston and want to meet in person, we can arrange that.
What software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Xero. If you don't have accounting software set up yet, we'll help you get started.
What do I need to do each month?
Grant us access to your bank feeds and upload any receipts we can't pull automatically. Most clients spend less than 15 minutes a month on this. We handle everything else.
Do you handle payroll?
Yes. We handle payroll setup, processing, tax deposits, quarterly filings, and year-end W-2s. We also manage multi-state payroll if you have employees in different locations.
Do you file taxes?
We don't file income taxes. We prepare your books so your CPA has a clean file at year-end. We do handle sales tax registration, returns, and remittance across multiple states.
What if I have employees or customers in multiple states?
That's something we handle regularly. We'll make sure you're set up correctly everywhere you operate.
How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day for emails and calls. If something is urgent, call us directly and we'll prioritize it.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a week. If your books need cleanup first, we start there. If they're already current, we jump straight into monthly service.
