Job Costing (VAST Professional
Only)
General Overview
The Job Costing module maintains information on an unlimited number of jobs. This includes estimates, change orders and actual transactions related to the job. Prior to using Job Costing, the system default information must be entered into the
System Administration module.
Use the Job Costing module to track billings, material costs, labor, subcontractor and miscellaneous costs per job. Costs may be distributed to an unlimited number of user-defined stages and task codes. The Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Entry and Payroll modules interact and update the Job Costing module.
