Launches VAST Accounting Professional Version 2.0

VIRGINIA BEACH - February 27, 2002 - Virginian Accounting Software Technologies, Inc. (VAST), a leading developer of accounting and business management software for small to mid-size businesses, announces the launch of VAST Accounting Professional Version 2.0, an upgrade to its popular VAST Accounting software product. Version 2.0 includes new features for the accounts payable, inventory control, accounts
receivable, order entry and contact manager modules.

Version 2.0 is now integrated with the Electronic Transaction Network, allowing businesses to pay vendor invoices electronically. In addition, invoices previously entered into accounts payable can now be selected for payment via company credit card or manual check, which can be distributed to multiple general ledger accounts. Customer and vendor invoices in dispute can also be placed on hold, eliminating user errors when recording payments or paying bills.

The inventory module provides support for serialized items, multiple
locations, UPC codes and an item image file attached to the record. New inventory control features enable users to assign unit of measure conversions per inventory item. Up to 10 user-defined inventory fields can be created to keep track of miscellaneous information on items, and, using the new inventory module, the history of assemblies produced can now be tracked.

The contact manager module can import customer records from ACT! and Outlook, manage tasks and quotes and has many user-defined fields. In addition, a range of contacts based upon any combination of twenty-one different field values can be filtered.
